WHAT WE DID
Project: Civil War Movie Promotional Brochure
This full scale project included more than just a brochure. It also required a Blu-Ray package insert. Graphic Works provided a full array of printed material to promote the re-make of the film “Shiloh: Fiery Trail” about one of the bloodiest and most important battles of the American Civil War. We had a fantastic library of imagery to work with that helped us instill the right mood for the historical seriousness of the film.
- Our graphic designers brought the Battle of Shiloh to life using photographs of re-enactors as a visual base to create a multi-page brochure that appears both historical and contemporary.
- We created a photo collage on the cover with a texture overlay for a “period” feel.
- We made the brochure part of an integrated package, including an elaborate DVD case, which was custom designed with a die cut pocket to hold the brochure and Blu-ray Disc.
- Our copywriters devised text that presented featured characters as real people who participated in the battle humanizing this historical event.
